ONSITE ACTIVITIES

Cuisine Teams

Clifton is the premier venue in Charlottesville for hosting cooking classes. Participants work with Executive Chef Dean Maupin and his staff to prepare one or more courses for a lunch or dinner menu. It is great fun and often creates the opportunity to breakdown previously constructed barriers as executives must work cooperatively to reach their objective.

Outdoor Activities

Direct meeting attendees around miles of well-marked hiking trails around the 18-acre lake and other parts of the 100-acre private estate, including trails bordering the beautiful Rivanna River-giving them the opportunity to wander and talk as long as neccessary. Play a game of croquet or tennis. Relax by the pool. Fish from the dock. Engage in a game of badminton on the front lawn. Teambuilding is a great way get your group to think in a different way, in a different environment-Clifton, the place you want to be.

OFFSITE ACTIVITIES

The Clifton staff is happy to arrange an array of activities for your group's enjoyment. Favorites of our clients include tours of Monticello, visits to local vineyards, shopping on the downtown mall, golf and teambuilding activities. Transportation can also be arranged to all locations.

You can incorporate Clifton’s award-winning cuisine into virtually every aspect of your meeting experience. From quick meeting breaks to luxurious dinners, Chef Dean Maupin and his staff will work with you to deliver your favorite selections off the Clifton menu – or help you create a custom menu just for your group.

Looking to highlight your gala dinner event with a special culinary theme? We can do that. Prefer an intimate chef’s table experience where your group of ten or fewer gets exclusive access to the Chef and his team? We can do that too. On a creative roll and just need a favorite appetizer or a round of banana smoothies to keep those ideas coming? Sit tight, they're on their way.
